Cancer and Exercise
A Mind Body Approach to Healing- Sometimes what you don’t know CAN hurt you. This program that goes over the things that get lost somewhere between your oncologists and surgeons. Chemo, radiation and surgery can leave long term effect s in your body. We will learn not only what exercises you should be doing, but WHY exercise is so important throughout treatment and after. It also includes a take home booklet of the exercises to do on a daily basis. This workshop is for anyone who is currently undergoing treatment or has had treatment in the past. Presented on donation basis to benefit Strong Body, Strong Mind- a non profit that trains cancer patients to regain strength and vitality.
You host the party, I’ll bring the Pilates!
Certified, Insured Pilates Instructor will come to your house or facility of choice and bring everything needed for a Pilates Party. Pilates Parties can be as involved as designing them around a wedding shower or just getting a few friends together to work out. All parties are based on your individual needs.
Pilates Parties include:
All equipment needed . i.e. mats, bands, balls
1 ½ hour of Pilates instruction.
